Loosehanger Oak designs and builds bespoke, oak-framed buildings and extensions. The first oak building we created in 2004 was for our own purposes. It was from this initial experience that the business was born. Why the name? Well, Loosehanger is the name of the location of that first building. The name is said to come from the Old English and means ‘wooded bank’.

Loosehanger Oak undertakes unique oak build projects and sees these projects through from beginning to end. From design and planning to final fit and finish, we take care of all the details so you don’t have to deal with multiple subcontractors.
